Housekeeping for Your New Club Pickleball Paddle
So you've got a new Club Pickleball Paddle? You’ll love the playability of the paddle and the way it makes the ball do what you expect of it.
Best of all, you’re playing with the best designs in the game.
We spent a lot of time testing our prototyped paddles, and still try to use our Club Pickleball Paddles as often as we can (it's not much, but it's honest work). By now, we've figured out some tips and tricks to keep in mind while using your new paddle.
- Your new pickleball paddle is a composite paddle featuring different layered materials. At the core, Club Pickleball paddles feature a responsive polymer core and a premium graphite face. You’ll notice your paddle play differently as you break it in. This is good. All those layers have to figure out how to work together!
- Our paddles feature a softer grip to promote comfort and feel. You’ll notice the handle and grip gradually fit you better until it starts feeling like an old friend. Of course, you’ll even notice paddles with white handles get dirty as you play.
- Our paddles clean up great with magic-eraser type products. These provide enough abrasion to scrub but won’t damage the grip’s texture. Use minimal moisture while cleaning the handle as the moisture could affect grip adhesion.
- Smacking the ground with your paddle is a part of pickleball--sometimes you just have to risk some scuffs to return a shot. Luckily, our paddles feature an edge guard with the perfect combination of rigidity and flexibility. The rigidity protects the face of the paddle, and the flexibility makes sure the edge guard doesn’t easily crack. We have tested our paddles in real-world playing and our edge guard holds up better, or as well as, the edge guards used on the most popular premium paddles.
